Darwin Newborn Photography Studio
Located in Darwin’s northern suburbs (Leanyer), experience a relaxed lifestyle-inspired studio session capturing a milestone for you and your baby. Newborn sessions are available three times per week (closed Sundays). Your baby is best captured between
5-12 days new; however can still be captured up to six weeks pending current weight due to safety with prop use.
Mini Newborn Collection
This session an ‘express’ mini session, which is more family orientated being a mini session. The mini collection is up to 1 hour in duration with the lifestyle set up, focusing on family lifestyle images of your baby wrapped or in knitwear with one prop on the lifestyle set up (no newborn backdrops). Max 4 people.
Inclusions: 5 edited digital images of your choosing, online gallery download link, one 5 x 7 inch fine art print in 8 x 10 inch professional matting.

Raphael Family Collection
The Raphael Collection can be newborn-only or family (baby’s parents and siblings, or baby’s parents and grandparents if no siblings). This session is up to two hours in duration with the lifestyle set up and up to 2 additional newborn backdrop set ups of your choosing if desired. Max 6 people.
Inclusions: 10 edited digital images of your choosing, online gallery download link, one 5 x 7 inch fine art print in 8 x 10 inch professional matting.

Gabriel Family Collection
Recommended for families (baby’s siblings, parents, grandparents). This session is up to 2.5 hours in duration with the lifestyle set up and 3 additional newborn backdrops of your choosing if desired.
Inclusions: 20 edited digital images of your choosing, online gallery download link, one 8 x 12 inch album (20 pages/ 10 sides) in a handmade wooden box, free credit of $150 towards portrait session valid up to 8 months after newborn session date.

Combine a portrait session for your maternity photography and a newborn session for $150 off (full pre payment of your portrait session is required upfront, where you will receive the discount on your newborn session).
Set-ups are pending newborn temperament on the day and are not guaranteed set up inclusions. Prices and packages are subject to change unless a non-refundable retainer is paid. Packages, including complimentary prints or included products cannot be swapped or removed. Packages are a whole. Once expired they cannot be swapped, transferred or credited. For twins, extra fees apply.
All bookings booked via our website require an upfront payment of $150 (which is our non-refundable retainer included with every package) to secure your booking. The remainder of your package can be paid one week before your booking, unless your booking is within this period. The non-refundable retainer cannot be refunded however can be transferred to another person, booking or a new date pending conditions within your agreement.
We pride ourselves in creating a flexible cancellation policy. Due to the nature of having children and every day being different, you may reschedule your booking to a new date up to 3 hours before your session (ACST) via contacting us on mobile or Facebook messenger. In the case of cancellation, your non-refundable retainer will be credited to be used on any services for up to 12 months, as long as it is within our policies. Further details will be sent to you via a booking agreement. This term is advertised publicly to help you make a decision on booking due to the upfront payment.

Unedited images are not what you are paying for; you are paying for completed artworks. Therefore, unedited images are not available to purchase and will not be supplied to you.
As photographers, we have a strict reputation and standard to uphold; and supplying unedited images damages both reputation as well as standard.

Grandparents are welcome, as long as the maximum person rule is not exceeded. In this case, a $30 per person fee applies - which includes one extra digital image per person. Please note that children are also apart of the limitations.

We are proud of a flexible rescheduling policy to support all families in those unpredictable times. If you find you are simply having a bad day and don’t feel like coming in, or your baby is not 100 percent - you can reschedule UP TO three hours prior to your session time. Please note that rescheduling MUST be via text or to our Facebook page. This ensures we keep a record of the cancellation in a time log.

Each collection states ‘up to’ (for example, up to 3 newborn set ups) as we cannot guarantee that all set ups will be achieved in the time period. The set up limit and time has been carefully calculated based on average achievement of set ups within the time period over several years of photographing newborns. Your baby may not like a particular set up, and we will aim to change this set up pending time left in the session; however, while rare, we may only be able to achieve up to a certain amount. No extensions of time, refunds, reshoots or credits apply for poses not achieved.

This business runs full time, and with a limited number of places available weekly for certain session types to ensure smooth-running of the business as well as quality control. We are unable to ‘pencil’ in a booking as this prevents prospective clients booking in the time slot. We spend much time before, during and after a session on each client in the background.
By paying the retainer, you are locking in your booking and guaranteeing your place chosen. Once bookings are full, clients who have not paid a retainer will have to resort to a waitlist or booking in at a later stage when an appropriate session date becomes available.
