Born and raised in Darwin, Northern Territory to my parents who are also Darwin-born, the journey of photography for me was always meant to be. I won my first photography award in year 8, along with many other achievements in visual arts.

It was in 2016 where I was gifted an entry-level camera by my now husband, where I began to really embrace photography and by curiosity, began taking family photographs. In early 2017, this became an addictive hobby - and I then began the journey as a business after much encouragement from those around me. In The Lens Photography was the original business name I created for myself, and proudly used this name until 2019 where I grew significantly and decided it was time to reflect my business on who I am as a person.

Georgia Politis Photography is a reflection of who I am - someone who loves being real, the beauty of life, the small things and most of all - creativity and memories.

My work is all about keeping photography timeless; no fake orange filters, but truly enhancing who you are and the art I create with my unique flare.
